Terms of service
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms govern access to and use of Netkido, the private network platform for company sites provided by [LEGAL NAME] (“Netkido”, “we”), tax ID [TAX ID], registered at [FULL ADDRESS]. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and the privacy policy. The Spanish version is the legally binding one.
1. The service
Netkido connects a company's sites in an encrypted private network. Each site runs our agent on a Linux machine owned by the customer, which connects over WireGuard to a hub operated by Netkido. The hub routes traffic between the sites of the same customer and keeps it isolated from every other customer. From the web dashboard you can add sites, see their status, receive alerts, run diagnostics and manage your team's permissions.
The customer is responsible for the machines it installs, their Internet connection and the configuration of its local network.
2. Beta phase
The service is in open beta. During this phase some features may change or be withdrawn without notice, and the availability commitments in section 8 do not apply. We will announce the end of the beta by email at least 30 days in advance and will keep your site configuration when moving to the stable release as far as technically possible.
3. Sign-up and account
- The service is aimed at businesses and professionals. You must be of legal age and, if you act on behalf of a company, be authorised to bind it.
- Your sign-up details must be accurate and kept up to date.
- Every sign-up is reviewed by hand before it is activated. We may reject an application without giving a reason.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and second factor confidential and for anything done with your account. Two-factor authentication is mandatory for account owners. If you notice unauthorised use, tell us at info@netkido.tech.
- The owner of a company account decides who else can access it and with which role, and is responsible for the actions of the people they invite.
4. Plans
You can use Netkido for free on the Starter plan: up to 2 sites and 10 Mbps of bandwidth per site, with no time limit.
For more sites, more bandwidth or other terms, we send you a proposal with the plan, its limits and its price. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT and any other applicable taxes. If they change, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and the change will apply from your next renewal.
“No cap” means Netkido applies no plan bandwidth limit; actual speed depends on your sites' connections and on reasonable use of the shared infrastructure.
5. Ordering, billing and end of plan
- The Starter plan is free and needs no payment details.
- Paid plans are arranged on request, by writing to us through the contact form or at info@netkido.tech. There is no online checkout. We will send you a proposal and enable the plan once you accept it.
- Billing is monthly or yearly, in advance, by electronic invoice with the payment method stated on it. If an invoice is not paid, we will remind you and may suspend the paid plan 7 days after the reminder.
- We will email you before the contracted period ends. If it is not renewed, the account automatically moves to the Starter plan: no site is deleted or disconnected, but Starter's bandwidth applies and you cannot add new sites while you are over its limit.
- Unless we are in serious breach, amounts paid are not refunded; if you cancel a yearly plan early, it stays active until the end of the paid period.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for unlawful activities or to infringe the rights of others;
- try to gain unauthorised access to Netkido's systems or other customers' networks;
- tamper with the agent or site machine to get around plan limits or attack the hub;
- transmit malicious software or use the network to send unsolicited communications;
- resell or transfer access to the service without our written permission.
If we detect use that puts the service or other customers at risk, we may disable the affected site immediately and will let you know. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to the account being closed.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, dashboard, agent, brand and documentation of Netkido belong to [LEGAL NAME] or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use them for as long as you use the service. The agent relies on free software components (such as WireGuard, FRRouting and nftables), which are governed by their own licences.
8. Availability
Outside the beta, for paid plans we commit to 99.5% monthly availability of the hub and dashboard, excluding scheduled maintenance announced at least 48 hours in advance, failures of the customer's connections or machines, failures of third parties outside our control and force majeure. If we miss it, you can ask for a credit proportional to the downtime, up to 10% of that month's fee. The Enterprise plan may have its own service level agreement.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Netkido is not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit or loss of data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service, and its total liability to you will not exceed what you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it. You are responsible for the content that travels through your network and for its lawful use.
10. Data protection
The processing of your data is governed by the privacy policy. For personal data that may travel through your network, Netkido acts as a processor; if you need one, we will sign a data processing agreement with you under Article 28 GDPR. Ask for it at info@netkido.tech.
11. Closing your account
You can close your account at any time by writing to info@netkido.tech from the owner's email address. Cancelling a paid plan takes effect at the end of the billed period. We may close an account for non-payment, for serious breach of these terms or, with 60 days' notice, if we discontinue the service. After closure, your sites stop connecting to the hub; for 30 days you can ask us for a copy of your network configuration, after which the data is deleted or blocked as set out in the privacy policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We will email you about significant changes at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you can close your account before they take effect.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of [CITY], unless the law provides otherwise on a mandatory basis.
